The lowest elevation on Earth is in the Mariana Trench in the Atlantic Ocean about 6.8 miles below sea level. If there were no water at this point, what would be the atmospheric pressure at this elevation? HELLOO! The Mariana Trench is in the Pacific Ocean? hence the name Mariana Islands.
